Pictured, the Hay on Wye Guild of Letterpress Printers, whose home is Hay Castle where we occasionally print on the 1853 Columbia press on the first floor. The first photo shows me with fellow conspirators, Francesca Kay and Sarah Lane. At our first event, at Easter 2025, we printed a Hay Alphabet, and a few weeks later, Francesca and I got together and, from her Old English wood type, we printed 'Some Boats', which the type was rather surprised about. Then, during Hay Festival 2026, Francesca and I printed different posters nearly every day, some of which can be seen here, including, 'Join the Book Desperadoes of Hay'!
