Thunderword from Joyce's Finnegans Wake, made up of different words for thunder in various languages. I'd had the image block of the Joyce caricature for a while – it's dated 1930 and is marked, mysteriously, 'Hospital Gala' on the back – and this seemed a good use of it. I only discovered after printing that the Bodoni Ultra Italic that I used for the text dates to 1928, so was appropriate for the time.
