I was recently given a small collection of type and ornaments, which meant that after making what little I had go a long way for quite some time, I no longer fully knew what I had to hand. I realised I need a project that would acquaint me with it and so conceived these ‘Occasionals’, in which I respond fairly immediately and with whatever I have to hand to various newsworthy events. It is an ongoing project; here are the four printed (and painted) so far – Drones over the Kremlin, The Coronation of King Charles III, UFOs renamed UAPs and Canadian Wildfires.
